About Paula Jelaca
Thank you for giving me this opportunity to introduce myself. I've helped hundreds of people buy and sell homes in and around Ngaruawahia, Hamilton and the wider Waikato, and I'm thrilled to have this opportunity to talk to you about yours.
Buying or selling property is one of the biggest 'life decisions' most people will ever make, so it's really important that you're getting the right advice and support throughout the process. It also needs to come from somebody you can trust, somebody who knows what it takes to get you the best outcome, and somebody who knows the local market inside-out.

The personal:
I'm practically a born & bred local, having started primary school in Orini, then returning to complete my education at Ngaruawahia High School. Since then I've lived and worked locally, and now own LJ Hooker Ngaruawahia with Shayne O'Hagan. We both love the fact that we are locals, working with and supporting other locals in this fast-growing community. We often say there's nowhere else we'd rather call home!
The credentials:
I've been in real estate for almost 20 years now, and have achieved many awards over that time. I was National Rookie of the Year when I fi rst started in real estate, and more recently I obtained Multi Million Dollar Membership of the LJ Hooker Captains Club, an initiative that recognises high-achieving, customer-driven professionals across the LJ Hooker group. Prior to real estate I was a psych nurse, and this training has really been to my advantage in sales when it comes to negotiating and reading body language.
It's not always what you know, but who:
Something we do often as real estate agents is to fi x things, solve problems, and bring people together. I have an enormous local network - tradespeople, services, contacts - and that is the type of personal, localised experience that simply can't be replicated unless, like us, you live, work and breathe local.
